In this T20 age, we don’t get to see many classical batters like we use to in the past. But its players like Rahul, who are keeping the interests of the purists alive. The tall Indian batsman is a glorious timer of the ball and his strokes oozes a lot of class and elegance. Even when he is looking to take the game to the bowlers, he hardly plays those ugly shots.
He creams the ball to the fence and majorly hits sixes on the off-side, which we don’t get to see often. The muscular youngster has a great liking for stroking sixes over extra-cover and point while he plays cover-drives and flick shots, quite graciously.
