9. Mitchell Starc (Australia) – 45 wickets, Ave: 24.55
Easily, the best fast bowler at present, Mitchell Starc is turning up the heat with red-ball as well. Due to frequent injuries, his participation was restricted to only 7 Tests but still he holds a tally of 45 wickets at 24.55. And considering that the Aussie pacer played 3 Tests in Sri Lanka, on largely spinning tracks and took as many as 24 wickets at 15, he seems a different class altogether.
The left-arm pacer had a good outing against South Africa as well. But in Brisbane Test against Pakistan, he seemed back to his best as he took seven wickets and most importantly pocketed Asad Shafiq in 2nd innings to help Australia win the Test.
