The Auctions saw Australian players coming out as favorites. Ricky Ponting and M.Clarke were surprisingly sold for their base price at the IPL Auctions 2013.

A total of 37 players went under the hammer at a humongous amount of $11.89 million at the IPL AUCTIONS 2013.

The ONLY million-dollar man at the IPL auction, Glenn Maxwell was playing for Australia against the West Indies while the IPL auctions were going on. We all know what happened next. His performance went up after being valued at a million at the IPL Auctions. He picked up 4 wickets in the Australian victory in the 2nd ODI. Glenn Maxwell has also found himself a place in the Australian Test squad for their tour of India this year.
