This Lahore bloke was an aggressive Wicket-keeper batsman who had a decade long career between 1952 and 1962. He was a clean and compulsive hitter of the ball. He was a natural hooker and puller of the ball with extravagant cut short in his armor. When the Pakistani team was reeling at 111 for six, he came out to bat against New Zealand at Lahore. But with his relentless counter-attack on the bowlers like Fred Trueman , he completely changed the fortunes of the game in favour of the Pakistani team. He played a ruthless knock of 209 before getting out. He was the first wicket keeper batsman to score a double century in tests. While he also holds the record of being the first Pakistani wicket keeper in tests as well as that of making the maiden double ton for his country. He is ranked 5th on our list.
