Statistically speaking, 2009 was best year for MS Dhoni as an ODI batsman. In no other calendar year, he has scored more runs or averaged more than 2009. In 24 innings, the Indian demolisher smashed 1,198 runs at an average of 70.47. He had 2 centuries and 9 half-centuries against his name. India had mix fortunes in 2009.
