7. Australia vs England, 2014, Hobart
Australia culminated as a unit in Ashes, carrying forward their magnificent run into the ODIs and T20s in 2014. In the 1st T20, Australia set up a target 214 runs having elected to bat first, on the flat yet bouncy wicket of Hobart. Cameron White and Aron Finch had a 100 run stand for the 1st wicket, which laid the foundation of such a gigantic score. Furthermore, middle order batsmen played their part well to rip England apart. Although England endured their laceration with great fortitude in the 2nd innings, the efforts weren’t enough to go past 200 and Australia led the series.
