1. Australia Vs England, Champions Trophy Semi Final at Centurion, 2009
Australia were up against England for the penultimate step of Champions Trophy 2009. England were dismissed on 257 runs in the 48th over after electing to bat. Although Peter Siddle and Brett Lee provided initial breakthroughs, Shane Watson was the most economical of all, plundering a couple of wickets, conceding 35 runs in 9 overs. Yet again, Shane Watson single handedly won the match for Australia scoring an unbeaten 136 runs along with skipper Ricky Ponting with 9 wickets remaining. Watson’s guile worked in the final against New Zealand too, where he scored another prudent hundred.
