3. Solid Technique
Much like the great Dravid, even this Rahul bases his game on solid technique. Overtime, he has added flamboyance and aggression to his game, but yet he started out as someone, technically very sound with a rock-solid defense and that has remained with him. The right-hander earned the national call-up after steady performances in domestic circuit and the difference between an IPL product and a Ranji one, is there to see.
The 24-year-old maintains great composure against pace and spin, likewise and shows tremendous application, each time he steps on to the 22-yards. Whatever difficulties he had against incoming deliveries seems sorted and the way he is improving all the time, his graph will only go higher.
