Saeed Ajmal’s bowling action came under the scanner a while back and it didn’t take International Cricket Council (ICC) long to invite the number one ODI bowler for a bowling action test. The test results revealed that Saeed Ajmal’s bowling action does not conform with the ICC norms & regulations. Ajmal has taken 178 wickets in Test cricket and  has 183 ODI wickets to his name. Ajmal also has 85 T20I wickets to his name.

Ajmal’s suspension comes as a huge blow to Pakistan Cricket as they’ll be going head to head against Australia in UAE next month. The two sides will be a part of a long tour including a Test series, an ODI series, and a T20I series. Ajmal may not be a part of the series thereby leaving Pakistan without their best bowler.
