One of the most solid and technically gifted left handed batsmen India has ever produced, Gautam Gambhir has been at the helm of his performances in the Ipl. The Delhi southpaw is known for his aggressive and fierce attitude on the field. He has played for Delhi Daredevils and Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL . In 2011,he was made to Captain KKR to change the fortunes of their disastrous run in the IPL. Since then he has been the protagonist for his side. He is so instrumental and inspiring that he led his side to the title win not once but twice. He leads from the front and sets the tone for the batting and has scored heavily in the IPL. With 26 half-centuries to his name, he is ranked 2nd in the list.
