ICC Champions Trophy 2013 – Teams, Schedule and Full Details

 

The ICC Champions Trophy 2013 will be played in England and Wales from June 6 to June 23. This will be the last ICC Champions Trophy as it will now be replaced by the ICC Test World Cup. Three cities will host the ICC Champions Trophy 2013 matches- London, Brimingham and Cardiff.

A total of eight teams will be participating in this tournament. They will be divided into two groups namely- Group A and Group B. After playing each team in their group once, top two teams from both the groups will make it to the semi-finals and then the winners will become the finalists of the ICC Champions Trophy 2013.

The point system is the same with the winning team getting 2 points, the losing team getting 0 points and in case of a tie each team will be awarded 1 point. In case two teams have the same number of points, the net run rate will be considered and the team with a higher net run rate will go through to the semi-finals.
