Top 10 most promising youngsters in Indian CricketThe 23 year old batter, Mandeep Singh is one of the shining youngsters in domestic arena. He represents Punjab in Ranji Trophy and so far accumulated 3,201 runs in 79 innings at an average of 45. One of the highest leading run scorers of 2010 Under-19 World Cup, he won the “Rising Star of the Tournament” award in IPL 2012.

But, it was in this edition of the IPL, when he emerged as a mature batsmen on whom the side could rely in crunch situations of the game. In the high pressure eliminator game of the IPL, he outplayed even the best batsmen of the world : AB De Villiers, with his stupefying innings after which AB dedicated his Man of the Match award to Mandeep. He is considered as a special talent by the Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli as well.
