8. Glenn Maxwell (Kings XI Punjab):
The Australian dasher, Glenn Maxwell will step in this IPL with the responsibility of captaining. But it might turn out to be a masterstroke. There’s no doubt about the wealth of talent Maxwell has, but at times, he plays too carelessly. So the responsibility of captaincy might hold him in good stead.
The Australian all-rounder was hero of Punjab’s journey to the finals in 2014 edition. But since then, he couldn’t quite have the same impact for his franchise and would look to make amends and finally, march his side to the IPL trophy.
