2. Waqar Younis :
Waqar Younis shivered the batsmen with his lethal reverse swinging and toe-crushing Yorkers throughout his 14 years of cricket journey. He was symbolized as a bowler who was masterly apt at hitting either the base of the stump or the toe of the batsmen. In his career, the maximum mode of dismissals came from leg before or from hitting the stumps with his death accuracy and pace.
In 262 ODI’s, he scalped 416 wickets at an average of 23, with the most number of 13 five-wicket hauls in the history of ODI’s. While, he took 373 wickets in 87 test matches and that too an astounding average of 23 with 22 five-wicket hauls and 5 ten-wicket hauls in tests. Overall, he ended his career with a mind-boggling 789 wickets against his name, which is second only to Wasim Akram.
