5. Vivian Richards (West Indies) and Merv Hughes(Australia) :
The burly Merv Hughes with larger than life moustache was utterly known for two things: firstly his lethal bowling and secondly for his lively character which enthralled incredible proportions of wit and humour. It was a test match played at Jamaica with Vivian Richards in devastating form. Despite the stature of Richards, Hughes continued to stare at Richards after each delivery but didn’t spoke a single word. In a swaggering way, Richards said: “Don’t you be staring at me, man. This is my island, my culture. And in my culture we just bowl”. Hughes replied with a masterpiece: “In my culture we just say fuck off”.
